With its sandy white beaches, natural lagoons and crystal clear sea water, Mauritius is indeed a tropical paradise. On arrival, you will be greeted by a India Tourist representative at Mauritius Airport and transferred to the hotel. Post check-in, rest and unwind in the comfort of your room.
On this day, you could spend the day at leisure by visiting the beaches on the beautiful islands. Suggested: To make the most of your leisure time, you could also book the Catamaran Cruise , which is a great way to spend a day in Mauritius. This multi-hulled watercraft offers a beautiful view of the open sea and would take you around the various islands. This cruise lets you enjoy yourself as you spend the day relaxing on the beautiful waters, in the lap of luxury. (Please note, that these are only suggested activities and are not included in the itinerary. You can purchase this activity at the time of booking the Holiday Services. Refer to the ‘Inclusions’ section for a list of included Holiday Services.) End the evening with a comfortable stay in the hotel after the eventful day.
On this day, indulge in activities (depending on the package selected) or spend the day as you please. Suggested: To make the most of your leisure time, you could head for a full-day tour of the Northern Islands (at your own expense). During the excursion, you would be visiting the capital city of Port Louis and the French colonial buildings that date back to 1738. Some of the other places which you would be visiting might seem familiar to you, as many Bollywood movies have been shot at places like Ford Adelaide (Garam Masala), Caudan Waterfront (Kuch Hota Hai), the Cap Malheureux Church (36 China Town) and Marie Reine Da La Paix (No Entry). After taking in the sights, you would get the chance to indulge yourself and shop your heart out, at the Jumbo Shopping Mall. Later, you would return to the hotel a comfortable overnight stay.

During the excursion, you would visit the extinct volcano of Trou aux Cerfs, followed by a visit to the Ganga Talao or Grand Bassin - a sacred Hindu temple and a holy lake in the crater of another extinct volcano. You would also visit the Coloured Earth Valley, a must-see Mauritian wonder. At the valley, the ground is naturally made up of different coloured soil. Another charming addition to the tour is the mini waterfalls, which add to the beauty of the island. Later, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport in time to board your flight back home.

In the event of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
For the X-mas and new year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable. In case you cancel the trip after commencement, the refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
